Blooming days

We welcome visitors to the Town Festival "Blooming days" (Blómstrandi dagar) in Hveragerði. The townspeople take an active part in the festival, and the number of cultural events has increased year by year, as has the number of visitors. The focus is on events from Thursday to Sunday, although the highlight of the festival is on Saturday. Interesting art exhibitions and diverse musical events are in town these days, along with health-related events for all age groups. The program is varied.

Blooming Days is a family, culture and health festival without alcohol, and parents are encouraged to respect children's and youth's outdoor time.

The townspeople contribute to the festival by decorating their neighborhood and garden. A great atmosphere has also been created around garage markets and galleries all over town.

Prizes will be awarded for the most beautiful, original and largest decorations. The most beautiful street will also be chosen.

All weekend there will be life and excitement in town for the whole family
