Visiting Hveragerði means having easy access to some of Iceland's most beautiful natural landscapes, from hot springs and geysers to mountains, rivers, waterfalls, and coastlines accessible to walk, run, or cycle in. The Geothermal Park is in the middle of the town and the Hot river trail is only 3 km away.

Hveragerði may be a small town, but it offers a variety of dining options that showcase Iceland's unique cuisine and culinary traditions, from traditional Icelandic cuisine to farm-to-table dining and cosy cafes. The newest addition is an elegant food hall, bar, shops, and ice cream shop at the Greenhouse Hotel.
